MyPerfectWords is an online writing service that also offers AI tools for different types of essays, from argumentative essays to narrative essays, as well as specific subjects like nursing and law.
The service also offers writing for college admissions essays, thesis writing services, and general writing assignments. Additionally, the site also includes a free AI detector and humanizer.
So, we decided to put the MyPerfectWords humanizer to the test.
In this detailed review, see how well MyPerfectWords humanized text was able to be detected by leading AI detectors, including Originality.ai, Writer, and ZeroGPT.
MyPerfectWords Humanizer is an AI humanizer that attempts to take text generated by AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, Claude, Gemini, and others and “humanize” it.
Many AI humanizers do this by simply swapping out synonyms or breaking up longer sentences, but switching out words and carving up long sentences into chunks aren’t always telltale signs of AI use (studies have proven that humans struggle to identify AI), and sometimes what you get ends up making even less sense than the AI version.
Keep in mind, however, that not all AI humanizers do this, and MyPerfectWords is just one example of many that we’ve tested.
MyPerfectWords allows up to 1,500 words to be humanized for free, which offers users flexibility. There are also premium pricing options available for different features.
The test was designed to see if three popular AI detectors, including the Originality.ai AI content detector, Writer, and ZeroGPT, could detect both the AI-generated text and humanized text written by the MyPerfectWords Humanizer.
Step 1: First, we generated a paragraph of text on a random topic in ChatGPT. This was done to make sure that all tools would have a baseline of AI-generated text to identify, along with the humanized text.
Step 2: We then ran the AI-generated text through Originality.ai, ZeroGPT, and Writer AI to get a base score.
Step 3: We pasted the same AI-generated text into the MyPerfectWords Humanizer and had the platform “rewrite” it.
Step 4: We then pasted the humanized AI text into ZeroGPT, Writer AI, and Originality.ai to see if the tools could successfully detect the humanized version of the text as having been AI-generated or not.

Original content (AI-generated): 100% Confidence that the text is Likely AI

MyPerfectWords Humanized Version: 100% Confidence that the text is Likely AI

Original content (AI-generated): 79% Human-generated (21% AI-generated)

MyPerfectWords Humanizer Version: 96% Human-generated (4% AI-generated)

Original content (AI-generated): 98.65% AI GPT

MyPerfectWords Humanizer Version: 52.28% AI-GPT
It’s also worth noting that in the sample for this test, the MyPerfectWords version was also more difficult to read. Let’s take a comparative look at the text:
The ChatGPT version: “High blood pressure management isn’t a one-time effort—it’s an ongoing process. Regular check-ups help track progress and ensure your treatment plan is working.”
MyPerfectWords version: “High Arteries Pressure Governance International Relations and Security Network is not a one-time effort; it is an ongoing system. Regular check-ups support the progression of your treatment and ensure that your treatment plan is functioning.”
Instead of clearly referring to strategies for “high blood pressure management”, MyPerfect words changes the phrasing to read like an agency or security network, “High Arteries Pressure Governance International Relations and Security Network”, confusing the context of the subject and decreasing the readability of the passage.
Maintaining transparency about what is and what isn’t AI text is increasingly important, such as when it comes to identifying the origins of healthcare-related information.

From the screenshots, you can see that only Originality.ai out of all three AI detectors was able to detect both the original AI-generated text and the humanized text by MyPerfectWords as AI-generated.
ZeroGPT came in a distant second, detecting the ChatGPT-5-generated text as AI, but struggled with the humanized text, detecting it as AI-GPT with 52% confidence. The Writer AI Detector found both samples (the ChatGPT and MyPerfectWords versions) likely to be human-generated.
So is MyPerfectWords text detectable? Yes, it is detectable as Likely AI by the best-in-class Originality.ai AI Detector.
Learn more about AI detection:
Yes, MyPerfectWords Humanizer can be used for blog posts, essays, and many other types of content. However, the content it generates is still detectable as Likely AI by Originality.ai. As an alternative, consider using AI as a support, such as for reviewing grammar and spelling. Then, infuse your writing with your own expertise and experiences to create high-value people-first content for readers.
As you can see from our tests, text humanized by MyPerfectWords is still detectable as Likely AI by Originality.ai.
