Great test and analysis. I tested a few that used Jasper (no edits) and saw 99% Al for most. Were you testing ~100 characters or the whole posts?

As expected, the human-written content received a 100% originality score and 0% AI. Conversely, the Jasper-written content was detected to be 95%Al and only 5%, human.

Yes, tried writer.com and didn't find anything, but with originality.ai found 100% match for GPT and 0% match for plagiarism.

I checked through writer.com and Content at Scale. Both gave massively high human content probability.

Use this for trends amongst writers to find the ones getting really bad scores consistently. I would not use it as a one and done tool, more for trends because of false positives. Ex. I confronted this writer, they initially denied it, then admitted to using ai, had the highest scores when averaged over all other writers.

I love the tool. Not only does it detect ACTUAL Al written content, but also writers who write just like Al. Great way to weed out Al and poor writing. Just because content was written by a human doesn't mean they did any better than an Al tool. We had a lot of our writers test positive for Al and they didn't use Al. What was common in all their writing was the lack of original thoughts. It was all regurgitation.

After doing some serious testing with Originality (which caters for the newerAl tech), I can't fool it (yet).

Detecting Ai content has become the most significant pain in the ass, I just signed up on Originality.a, and I am just fascinated.

I tried your prompts (and other ideas) and I think the issue here is that you're using a GPT-2 detector on output generated by GPT-3.5. Chat GPT is too smart for it! I used Originality to check the results and it can't be fooled.
