“Humanize AI text with Humbot's cutting-edge AI-to-human text converter.”
Another bold claim from an AI writing tool that suggests it can create content that bypasses AI detection.
So, we are back to see if this claim is true or if it is another platform that flatters to deceive.
Here, we will discuss the following:
Humbot claims to change AI text so that it bypasses AI detectors without producing any grammatical or spelling errors.
It calls itself an AI humanizer, much like other tools that say they bypass AI detection systems, and states it can 'bypass AI detection effortlessly.'
As Humbot claims to outwit AI detection algorithms, it is understandable that many people are interested in using the tool.
After all, if using Humbot has the potential to generate extensive content that replicates human writing, ranks well on Google, and drives organic traffic (so you can spend that time doing other things you prefer), wouldn't you be interested?
If the tool does work, it could be revolutionary for the worlds of content marketing and academic writing.
Although the concept of humanizing AI text is no doubt appealing to many, it depends on if Humbot actually works.
So, with that in mind, we decided to run it through a couple of basic tests to see whether the tool is a content creation game-changer or a tool you should avoid.
To see whether or not the Humbot platform works, we created a series of tests to analyze it.
Step 1: To start, we generated an AI article through ChatGPT and used that as our baseline content. We opted for ChatGPT as it continues to be one of the most popular AI content generation platforms.
Step 2: We then took that AI-generated content and ran it through some of the AI detectors that Humbot specifically names (including Originality.ai), to see if platforms detected the content as AI-generated.
Step 3: Next, we took the ChatGPT-generated content and ran it through Humbot to 'humanize' it.
Step 4: Finally, to conclude the test, we took that new content and repeated the process to show whether or not the content changes were detected as AI-generated.
Here is our prompt:
Write an informative article on the concept of growing your own vegetables. Cover the benefits, such as cost savings, health advantages, and environmental impact. Discuss the basics of starting a vegetable garden, including choosing the right location, soil preparation, selecting appropriate vegetable varieties, and essential maintenance tips. Provide practical advice for both beginners and experienced gardeners, emphasizing sustainable and organic gardening practices. Conclude with some common challenges and solutions to help gardeners succeed in growing their own vegetables.
Here are the AI detectors we used for this test:
Original content: 100% AI & 0% Human-written
Humbot version: 100% AI & 0% Human-written
Original content: 100% AI & 0% Human-written
Humbot version: 98% AI & 2% Human-written
Original content: 25% AI & 75% Human-written
Humbot version: 13% AI & 87% Human-written
Original content: 100% AI & 0% Human-written content
Humbot version: 100% AI & 0% Human-written
As you can see from the results, running the content through Humbot had little to no impact on the AI detection scores, other than Writer AI, which was also unable to detect the ChatGPT content.
Not only that, but the aspects that Humbot changed in an attempt to bypass these tools left us with confusing or poorly structured sentences.
Here are a couple of examples from the first few paragraphs alone:

Overall, it's clear to see that Humbot does not humanize AI text. It merely runs every third or fourth word through a thesaurus, leaving users with long-winded, wordy, and confusing sentence structures.
For the best results, use AI tools sparingly and focus on providing your unique perspective on anything that you produce.
You can use Humbot AI for free, but to keep using the platform for AI text, there is a monthly subscription fee.
Humbot claims to change AI text so that it can bypass AI detectors without producing any grammatical or spelling errors.
In truth, no 'AI humanizer' tool offers undetectable AI writing unless it becomes extremely poorly written.
The only way to 'humanize AI text' is to use AI content creation tools sparingly, weaving the content in with human-written text, in a sort of collaborative approach.
As AI continues to advance, many are making predictions about what AI can (and should) do. If you use AI-powered writing tools for brainstorming and productivity support, they can be great. However, ethical concerns arise when they are not used transparently.
