We're back and ready to review another tool that claims to generate content that bypasses AI content detectors.
This time, we are testing out Phrasly AI, a tool designed specifically for bypassing an AI text detector, offering users "humanizing AI-generated content" that will bypass popular AI detectors like Originality.ai.
So far, as part of our tests, tools like this have come up short, only able to pass our detection by making countless grammar mistakes or writing incoherent sentences.
Nonetheless, we will conduct similar tests here to see if Phrasly AI's co-writer feature is the real deal or if another company is trying to make a quick buck.
Here, we will discuss the following:
According to Phrasly AI, their tool can "Transform AI-generated content into undetectable text with Phrasly. Save time on your assignments, boost grades, and easily bypass AI detectors like Turnitin and GPTZero."
Well, we'll be the judge of that!
Whenever a company claims to help people with their school work while also claiming you will be maintaining academic integrity in the process, we see red flags.
After all, the concept of handing in AI-generated content as your own, whether detectable or not, lacks integrity.
While we certainly don't promote Originality.ai as an academic tool, we do believe in the importance of integrity and transparency in a world where misinformation and generated content is easier to create than ever before.
That's not to say we don't believe that AI content generation tools have some key features that can be ideal for certain situations, but it does mean we don't believe in using detection bypassing tools, especially to "boost grades."
However, if we refer back to the statement made on the front page of the Phrasly AI website, we can identify two clear motives for people seeking out tools like Phrasly AI to help with their work or projects.
To save time and to improve your scores.
And that doesn't have to be at school or college. That can also be saving time at work when your schedule is particularly busy or trying to impress your colleagues or boss with your output.
With that in mind, it is easy to see why an AI detector bypass tool is so exciting for some, especially if it creates indistinguishable human-like text and allows people to overcome common writing challenges.
But is Phrasly AI a revolutionary tool providing valuable assistance or one that uses grammar errors and incoherent sentences to trick users into thinking it works?
To find out, we decided to put the Phrasly AI tool to the test on some of the list of the best AI detectors, including:
For our test, we created a 500-word AI-generated article in ChatGPT, which we will run through each detection software without any amends to get a base score.
Then, we will run that same article through Phrasly AI, copy what they produce for us, and run it through those same AI detectors once more.
In theory, the content should go from flagging as AI-generated content to human-written. You can see this type of test on some of our other reviews, including for tools like Undetectable AI.
Here is our prompt for ChatGPT:
Write me an article about the pros and cons of starting your own e-commerce business. The article should be written by a source of authority and should show that we are an expert source on the topic of e-commerce start-ups. Include headings where necessary and a quick key takeaways bullet list section straight after the introduction. The content should lean towards the pros rather than the cons, and the conclusion should reflect that. Please write between 500-700 words.
And here's what we will be working with for this test:
Now, all that's left is to run that through our detectors, run it through Phrasly AI, and then our detectors once more.
Original content: 100% AI & 0% Human-written
Phrasly version: 100% AI & 0% Human-written
Original content: 56% AI & 44% Human-written
Phrasly version: 31% AI & 69% Human-written
Original content: 1% AI & 99% Human-written
Phrasly version: 0% AI & 100% Human-written
Original content: "Hard to tell"
Phrasly version: "Hard to tell"
Original content: 100% AI & 0% Human written
Phrasly version: 100% AI & 0% Human written
As you can see from the results, they're mixed at best. For Originality.ai, the tool detected both versions as 100% AI-generated, as did CopyLeaks, while ContentAtScale determined that both pieces of content are 'Hard to Tell.'
Writer seemed to think both versions were human-written, but you can only check 1500 characters at a time with their program, which may have factored into their miscalculations.
As for GPTZero, that tool's percentage score changed from 56% chance of AI-generated content to 31%, which is interesting.
However, looking a little deeper into the content, it is easy to see why that tool struggled to identify the AI-generated content, as the sentences were highly concluded and unnecessarily complex.
Here are a couple of examples:
Is Phrasly effective at bypassing popular ai detectors? It would seem that, at best, the tool can turn your content into less well-written content, but even then, the best AI content detection tools are up to the challenge.
Phrasly AI lets you input as many as 550 words as part of its free subscription, but you need to purchase a membership for larger pieces of AI-generated content.
Phrasly AI claims to transform ai generated content into human-like text, which doesn't show up on AI detectors like Turnitin, Originality.ai, and others. The tool offers this service in multiple languages and as a result, is a popular platform.
As we have proven, AI-generated content is almost impossible to turn undetectable without making significant grammatical errors or writing very poorly. As a result, we recommend you use AI tools for generating content ideas and outlines and then writing the content yourself.
Not only will this writing process help you bypass AI detectors as your content is human-written, but it will also ensure you maintain academic integrity.
AI-generated text is certainly fine to use, but only in specific circumstances. For example, an AI-powered writing tool can be a very handy tool for content ideas, to save time, or as a grammar checker, but it shouldn't be used to substitute hard work in integrity.
No, that’s one of the benefits, only fill out the areas which you think will be relevant to the prompts you require.
When making the tool we had to make each prompt as general as possible to be able to include every kind of input. Not to worry though ChatGPT is smart and will still understand the prompt.
Originality.ai did a fantastic job on all three prompts, precisely detecting them as AI-written. Additionally, after I checked with actual human-written textual content, it did determine it as 100% human-generated, which is important.

Tools for conducting a plagiarism check between two documents online are important as it helps to ensure the originality and authenticity of written work. Plagiarism undermines the value of professional and educational institutions, as well as the integrity of the authors who write articles. By checking for plagiarism, you can ensure the work that you produce is original or properly attributed to the original author. This helps prevent the distribution of copied and misrepresented information.
Text comparison is the process of taking two or more pieces of text and comparing them to see if there are any similarities, differences and/or plagiarism. The objective of a text comparison is to see if one of the texts has been copied or paraphrased from another text. This text compare tool for plagiarism check between two documents has been built to help you streamline that process by finding the discrepancies with ease.
Text comparison tools work by analyzing and comparing the contents of two or more text documents to find similarities and differences between them. This is typically done by breaking the texts down into smaller units such as sentences or phrases, and then calculating a similarity score based on the number of identical or nearly identical units. The comparison may be based on the exact wording of the text, or it may take into account synonyms and other variations in language. The results of the comparison are usually presented in the form of a report or visual representation, highlighting the similarities and differences between the texts.
String comparison is a fundamental operation in text comparison tools that involves comparing two sequences of characters to determine if they are identical or not. This comparison can be done at the character level or at a higher level, such as the word or sentence level.
The most basic form of string comparison is the equality test, where the two strings are compared character by character and a Boolean result indicating whether they are equal or not is returned. More sophisticated string comparison algorithms use heuristics and statistical models to determine the similarity between two strings, even if they are not exactly the same. These algorithms often use techniques such as edit distance, which measures the minimum number of operations (such as insertions, deletions, and substitutions) required to transform one string into another.
Another common technique for string comparison is n-gram analysis, where the strings are divided into overlapping sequences of characters (n-grams) and the frequency of each n-gram is compared between the two strings. This allows for a more nuanced comparison that takes into account partial similarities, rather than just exact matches.
String comparison is a crucial component of text comparison tools, as it forms the basis for determining the similarities and differences between texts. The results of the string comparison can then be used to generate a report or visual representation of the similarities and differences between the texts.
Syntax highlighting is a feature of text editors and integrated development environments (IDEs) that helps to visually distinguish different elements of a code or markup language. It does this by coloring different elements of the code, such as keywords, variables, functions, and operators, based on a predefined set of rules.
The purpose of syntax highlighting is to make the code easier to read and understand, by drawing attention to the different elements and their structure. For example, keywords may be colored in a different hue to emphasize their importance, while comments or strings may be colored differently to distinguish them from the code itself. This helps to make the code more readable, reducing the cognitive load of the reader and making it easier to identify potential syntax errors.
With our tool it’s easy, just enter or upload some text, click on the button “Compare text” and the tool will automatically display the diff between the two texts.
Using text comparison tools is much easier, more efficient, and more reliable than proofreading a piece of text by hand. Eliminate the risk of human error by using a tool to detect and display the text difference within seconds.
We have support for the file extensions .pdf, .docx, .odt, .doc and .txt. You can also enter your text or copy and paste text to compare.
There is never any data saved by the tool, when you hit “Upload” we are just scanning the text and pasting it into our text area so with our text compare tool, no data ever enters our servers.
