In this article, we’ll review the features, how to filter the table, and provide an overview of each chatbot. This list will remain updated as an easy-to-reference location as more AI Chatbots emerge.

Features Overview

A quick overview of the chatbot features that are included in our table.

1. Primary Category

The primary category feature classifies the chatbots into one of five broad categories.

  • Customer Support: Chatbots that are primarily designed to assist with customer queries and provide support for users.
  • Content Creation: Chatbots designed to help with content creation like articles, scripts, and emails.
  • Personal Assistant: Chatbots designed to act as virtual assistants (scheduling, setting reminders, and task management).
  • Educational and Information Retrieval: Chatbots that are designed to provide educational content and retrieve specific information.
  • Social and Entertainment: Chatbots that are designed for social interaction, entertainment, and companionship.

2. Internet Access

This feature indicates whether the chatbot has direct access to the web, so that it can retrieve real-time information. Chatbots with internet access provide the most up-to-date information. It is labeled yes or no for convenient list filtering.

3. API Integration

This feature highlights whether the chatbot offers an API (Application Programming Interface) that developers or users can use to integrate chatbot functionalities into applications and systems. It is labeled yes or no for convenient filtering.

4. No Code Development

This feature indicates whether the chatbot platform supports no code development. This enables users, usually through drag-and-drop interfaces or prebuilt templates, to create and customize chatbots without the need to write code. It’s useful to small businesses or teams without dedicated developers who want to leverage chatbots.

5. Open Source

This feature indicates whether a chatbot is open source, which means users are allowed to view, modify, and distribute the source code for that chatbot. This is beneficial for developers who want to customize and integrate chatbots — it provides room for flexibility, creativity, and innovation.
