Once you have clearly and succinctly identified what these goals are, fill in the target audience. Knowing the audience helps ensure the content will be effective and engaging. For example, an audience of software developers may have different topical interests than an audience of marketers, freelance writers, or engineers.

Next, fill in the social media platforms you want your content to appear on. Each one of these offers different styles of content as well as audiences, so it’s important to note this.

Choose the language for the content calendar from the drop-down menu. There are a number of options to choose from which makes adapting it to a global audience as easy as selecting language preferences.

Once all the required inputs have been set, then click the ‘Generate’ button.

Once you’re happy with your social media content calendar template, click the “Copy to Clipboard” button to copy your plan. That will let you paste the calendar into your preferred software or document.

Alternatively, for any areas that just need a little adjustment, you have the ‘Fine-Tune’ button, so that you can further customize the calendar.

Finally, if you want to start over and create a different calendar use the ‘Clear Form’ button.
