Step 1: First, we split the test into three forms of content, each one generated by ChatGPT, and then copied word for word into Smodin's content detector.
Step 2: For clarity, we also ran the exact ChatGPT copy into Originality's AI content detector to see how our software compared to Smodin.

Initial results suggest that Smodin struggles when it comes to detecting AI content. In contrast to the Originality.ai detector, which correctly identified all three samples as AI-generated, Smodin’s results identified the content as human-written (even though it was copied and pasted directly from ChatGPT).
The test deliberately provided ChatGPT with detailed prompts on a tech-heavy subject to ensure the content was high-quality to challenge both tools. However, despite the exceptional performance of Originality.ai, Smodin’s tool was unable to detect the content as AI-generated.
Note: Due to the small sample size, further testing is required to determine the overall accuracy of Smodin’s AI detection tool.
