To test SEO.AI's AI detector, we created a three-format test with three different content styles.
Step 1: We generated content in ChatGPT to produce three types.
Step 2: Next, we copied the generated content into the SEO.AI AI content detector to see if it could identify it as AI-generated or not.

From our small sample size, the initial findings show that the SEO.AI tool struggles with AI detection, especially with the blog post example. The tool identified it as 99% human-written despite getting pulled directly from ChatGPT.
While further testing beyond this initial sample size is needed to categorically state whether an AI detection tool works or doesn't, these results suggest you should perform additional analysis before trusting SEO.AI reports.
In contrast, Originality.ai excelled at AI detection; it correctly detected the ChatGPT content as AI-generated in each of the three rounds of analysis.
